James & Mary are my earliest known Unwin ancestors. They were my great great great great grandparents, and were married at St.Thomas's Church, Liverpool on 16th December 1759.
Mary's maiden name was Parkinson, and it is possible that she had at least three sisters, as follows:-Alice, who married John Strachan at St.Thomas's Church, Liverpool on 8th September 1756.
Catherine, who married William Dutton at St.Thomas's Church, Liverpool on 7th February 1768.
Margaret, who married William Thompson at St.Thomas's Church,Liverpool on 5th September 1768.
James' and Mary's children included Robert (my great great great grandfather), and possibly the following:-
Thomas (pipemaker), born about 1768, and married Sarah Taylor at St.Thomas's Church, Liverpool on 14th November 1786.
John (baker), who married Mary Gery(?) at St.Thomas's Church, Liverpool on 10th June 1793.
Betty, who married James Crearey (innkeeper) by licence at St.Thomas's Church, Liverpool on 17th October 1798.
Catherine, who married John Williams (joiner), at St.John's Church, Liverpool on 3rd October 1802.
